HISTORY OF CCHCSP
The (CCHCSP) was founded in 2002 in recognition of the declining numbers of clinician-scientists within Canada. At this time the gap had also been documented by the Canadian Institutes of Health (CIHR) who developed the Strategic Training Initiative in Health Research (CIHR STHR). Through this partnership and the support of other stakeholders, CCHCSP was born.
