Biography

Dr. Johnny Deladoëy completed his medical school at the University of Bern, Switzerland, followed by a PhD (Department of Clinical Research, University of Bern) in Dr. Primus Mullis’ laboratory. Thereafter, he trained in Pediatrics at the Children Hospital of the University of Bern, Switzerland and completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the CHU Sainte-Justine, University of Montreal. Johnny is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Montreal and Clinician-Scientist at Research Center of the CHU Sainte-Justine. His work focuses on the molecular mechanisms leading to incomplete migration of the thyroid gland during embryogenesis, the main cause of congenital hypothyroidism.
