Biography

Maude Perreault is a Registered Dietitian currently pursuing a PhD at McMaster University, with the support of a CIHR-Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship. Maude received her MSc from the University of Guelph (2013) after completing her BSc in Nutrition (2010) at the Université de Montréal, where she was clinically trained at CHU Sainte-Justine. Maude’s area of interest is in Nutrition and Developmental Programming, specifically how dietary choices during pregnancy and early life can improve offspring’s health status. Through the Be Healthy in Pregnancy RCT, Maude’s PhD training will explore the prenatal and early neonatal determinants of bone health status. In complement to her full-time research studies, Maude is highly involved with Let’s talk Science, a national non-profit organisation promoting science literacy to youth in the community.
